Each year, individuals, businesses and community groups throughout New Jersey plan and host events and activities whose proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association. These events assist us in:
- providing assistance for respite care services to families in need
- expanding our community outreach efforts through family and caregiver education and training programs
- offering professional education and training programs
- expanding the Learning Institute to include new programs
- providing information, resources and support to caregivers through Helpline, our 24/7 toll-free number that receives an increasing volume of calls, averaging close to 700 each month
- enrolling individuals in the MedicAlert®+Safe Return® program
