Director of Education and Community Outreach

The Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter is pleased to announce their recruitment for a Director of Education and Community Outreach.  This is a newly designed leadership position, which will contribute significantly to the strategic development and growth of our organization's mission. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have a graduate degree in nursing, social work, health education or a related field and 10+ years of professional clinical experience in working with individuals with dementia and their families. In addition, we seek candidates who have a track record and experience in developing and implementing strategies for community outreach and partnerships, as well as, designing and developing educational curricula and evaluation tools. 

Candidates should also have experience in developing and obtaining approval for professional CE programs, planning and managing conferences, as well as, excellent writing and presentation skills, staff performance and project management skills, and strong budget management skills.
