2012 Gala

Our special spring benefit gala, “Memories Should Last a Lifetime”, was held on Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Pleasantdale Château in West Orange, New Jersey, one of the country’s premier estates.  The event honored and celebrated the lives of those who have been affected by Alzheimer’s disease.  The logo for the event, the forget-me-not flower, is a symbol of hope in the fight against this disease.

The gala raised funds for medical and scientific research, and for the local care and support services that the Alzheimer’s Association provides to more than 350,000 New Jersey individuals and families that are impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.  The guests enjoyed an elegant dinner and an impressive array of items at a silent auction, and then danced to the sounds of the the Infernos Band.

“Thank you to everyone who helped to make the evening a success.  Our guests enjoyed themselves immensely, and the night was certainly one to remember.  We are grateful for the support of our sponsors, and the participation of our guests.  Thank you for honoring and celebrating the lives of those who have been affected by Alzheimer’s disease.”
