“My family and I were personally affected by Alzheimer's disease in 1993 when my Grandmom Millie was diagnosed. At that moment we made a commitment to do more. We began to participate in all of the Association's special events, but we wanted to do something special to specifically honor Millie, hence the creation of my personal third party benefit which has been going strong annually for the past several years. It began as a semiformal dinner dance and has since changed and evolved over time into such things as a champagne brunch, an educational luncheon, a musical concert and cocktail parties that have raised tens of thousands of dollars. We continue to come up with new and innovative ideas to generate further interest and involvement. I know that Grandmom Millie is looking down with pride knowing that together we are working to support those individuals impacted by this illness and to help put an end to Alzheimer's”.

Your event can be large or small; invite family, friends, classmates, club members, coworkers and vendors. Individuals, businesses and community groups throughout New Jersey graciously plan and host events to raise funds to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
