The Program gives something back to patients, families, and the community that no other program has been able to duplicate. Patients benefit through the creation of art. Families benefit because communication is made possible, allowing them to develop a unique appreciation of their loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s. We have 30 Memories in the Makings sites held in residential and adult day service programs in: Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco and Contra Costa Counties. Memories in the Making is a program provided through the Alzheimer's Association of Northern California and Northern Nevada. To learn more about the program, or to volunteer as an artist facilitator, please contact Angel Duncan, MFT, ATR (650) 962-8111.
