Alzheimer's Breakthrough Ride

You are invited to attend the launch event for the Alzheimer’s Breakthrough Ride in San Francisco on Friday, July 16. The Alzheimer’s Breakthrough Ride is a cross-country, relay-style bike ride starting in San Francisco on July 17 and culminating in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 21. Alzheimer’s researchers participating in the ride will raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and collect 50,000 signatures in support of the Alzheimer's Breakthrough Act <http://www.alz.org/news_and_events_response_alzheimers_

> . On Sept. 21, World Alzheimer's Day, all riders will gather in the nation's capital to deliver more than 50,000 signatures supporting the Breakthrough Act to Congress.

 WHERE: The East Triangle at the Marina Green in San Francisco (closest intersection is Marina Blvd. and Scott St.)
 WHEN: Friday, July 16, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a stage program commencing at 12:30 p.m.

If you can’t join us on Friday, please note that there will also be a send-off event the morning of July 17. This event will feature a brief program and a celebratory send off of four local cyclists, who will depart for a ride to San Luis Obisbo.
