The Alzheimer's Association is the largest non-profit health organization dedicated to Alzheimer's disease. Our volunteers are very special individuals who share with us their skills, talents and become part of the Association team. They are individuals who allow us to leverage our resources and expand our reach to build awareness and support to individuals with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. If you can give a couple hours a week, a few hours a month or just once in awhile throughout the year, please consider the volunteer opportunities below.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Administration/Office - Work in our office during business hours assisting with both on-going and special administration/clerical projects, data entry. (Office Assistant, Resource Aide, Volunteer Engagement Coordinator)
Advocacy - Public Policy – Become an advocates to help influence national and state policy while creating widespread awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. Sign up to receive updates on Alzheimer's related issues. For more information, contact Scott Herrick at email@example.com for details.
Awareness Teams – Create a team in your area to bring awareness activities specific to your community. (Community Director)
Family Education & Support - Assist with the education and outreach programs as well as providing comfortable, informative & supportive arenas to support families living with Dementia. (Community Educators, Health Fair representatives, Support Group Leaders, Care Consults)
Marketing/Development/Special Events - Assist with special events, fundraising and marketing for the organization.
