The Alzheimer's Association is the largest non-profit health organization dedicated to Alzheimer's disease.  Our volunteers are very special individuals who share with us their skills, talents and become part of the Association team.  They are individuals who allow us to leverage our resources and expand our reach to build awareness and support to individuals with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers.  If you can give a couple hours a week, a few hours a month or just once in awhile throughout the year, please consider the volunteer opportunities below.


Community Educator  

day, evening, weekend 

Represent the chapter, attend health fairs, make education  presentations in the community

Support Group Facilitator 

day, evening, weekend 

Provide a comfortable, informative & supportive environment 

Care Consultation 

Chapter office hours 8-5 

One-on-one consults  with family members, must be an MSW

Office Assistant 

Chapter office hours 8-5 

Assist office staff with programs & events 

Resource Center Aide 

Chapter office hours 8-5 

Help file, track and provide operation hours to our Caregiver Resource Center  



Grassroots advocate local, state, or federal, Advocacy alerts, attend public policy events, visit legislators in district. Contact Scott Herrick at  

Volunteer Engagement Coordinator 

Chapter office hours 8-5 

Assist with recruitment & tracking of new volunteers (in office)

Community Awareness Director 


Create community teams to bring awareness activities to the local community

Marketing/Development/Special Events - Assist with special events, fundraising and marketing for the organization.
