Texas Blood Institute (TXBI) is offering Wichita Falls-area residents the opportunity to give more than blood when they donate in a campaign to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association - North Central Texas Chapter.
During November, those giving blood at the Wichita Falls donor center and blood drives in the surrounding eight-county area, will have the option to forgo receiving a blood donor T-shirt, in favor of Texas Blood Institute contributing an equitable amount to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Money given through the initiative will be used for Alzheimer’s disease research, care and support.
Blood can be given at any time at the Wichita Falls donor center (3709 Gregory St., Ste. 109, Wichita Falls, TX 76308) or at any blood drive in the surrounding area. Further information, including special dates and locations, is available here
