A Workshop for Those Caring for Individuals with Dementia
Mapping the Journey is a thorough introduction to caring for someone with dementia developed by the Alzheimer's Association-North Central Texas Chapter. The four-part training course begins with taking action after a diagnosis. Experts in different fields cover such topics as legal and safety issues, financial considerations and caring for the caregiver. The program is offered free of charge on four consecutive Wednesday afternoon beginning April 10.
