Louise Harrington Fund
The Louise C. Harrington Fund was established in 2000 by her daughter, Roxy Stevenson, to honor her mother’s memory following Mrs. Harrington’s 20 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. The Louise C. Harrington Fund is used to pay for direct care services, primarily in-home care and adult day care, for qualifying chapter clients who are already enrolled in our case management program. All donations made to this fund will be used to directly support individual families providing home care.
If you are interested in donating to this specific fund, please call 817.336.4949 or send your check to the Fort Worth office at 2630 West Freeway, Ste. 100, Fort Worth, TX 76102.
Another way to donate to the Alzheimer's Association - North Central Texas Chapter is through grocery cards. Participating in these programs will not affect the price of your groceries, but your sales will be credited to our chapter account. The grocer will contribute a percentage of sales to our chapter. Participating grocers include:
||Please link your Tom Thumb Reward Card to #971 to designate the North Central Texas Chapter.|
||Click here to obtain the customer letter and barcode needed to link your KrogerPlus card to our chapter. Please read the information from Kroger regarding the program limits and fund distribution.|
Call Charity Motors at 214.630.0044 or visit http://www.charitymotors.org to learn about donating your car. The vehicle does not need to be running, timely pick-up is provided and IRS forms are available. Be sure to say you want the proceeds to go to the Alzheimer’s Association - North Central Texas Chapter.
Participating in your company’s matching gift program is a great way to double or triple your donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. Ask your human resources department for a matching gift form and mail it, along with your donation, to the address below or you can fax it to 817.336.4966.
Name the Alzheimer’s Association in your will. The following language can be taken to your professional counsel:
“I hereby give, devise and bequeath (amount, proportionate share, test/remainder or specific property) to the Alzheimer’s Association - North Central Texas Chapter, 2630 West Freeway, Suite 100, Fort Worth, TX 76102.”
