Precious Window of Time

Sunny Buchman has been working to enhance the quality of life for others her entire adult life, as the founder of a regional arts council and an arts program for veterans. Yet, Sunny’s strengths were put to the test when her husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

Her book,  “Precious Window of Time” relates their journey as the couple strives to make the best of the time they have left together. You can purchase the book for $15 from our office, and all proceeds benefit ALZNENY. Call 518-867-4999, ext. 211 or e-mail for more information. 


Caregivers Conference
Call for Presenters

The 2015 Caregivers Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, at the Albany Marriott. The Conference Advisory Committee is now accepting workshop applications for stimulating presentations that will provide current and practical information to the 500 family care partners and professional caregivers anticipated to attend the Conference. Proposals must be submitted by January 23, 2015.

 Evening to End Alzheimer's Gala

This year's Evening to End Alzheimer's Gala will be Friday, May 1st, and you're invited! The Gala will again be held at the beautiful Hall of Springs in Saratoga, and will feature cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, awards, and dancing with The Refrigerators!
