CARES™ Online Dementia Care Training Program
The CARES training program is a 10-module (10-hour) online dementia care training program for CNAs, supervisors, nurses, social workers, administrators, and other direct-care workers. It features hundreds of videos of real residents, CNAs, and staff members and has been hailed as the “best training program of any kind I’ve ever been a part of” by multiple users.

CARES is consistent with the latest evidence-based research from the Alzheimer’s Association Campaign for Quality Residential Care Practice Recommendations. The program features hundreds of videos of real staff members, families, and residents in real situations within the 10 training modules:

Dementia Care Training for Team Leaders:  Successful Supervision
This training provides guidance for individuals who supervise others involved in the care of those with dementia. Whether you are a nursing home administrator, social worker, charge nurse, an Alzheimer’s unit coordinator, a team mentor, or in some other leadership position, your leadership skills are critical to good care for your residents with dementia. Continuing Education is available for social workers and long term care administrators participating in the course. At the end of this course, you will be able to print a certificate of completion.
