What is Memory Walk?
It’s the Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter’s largest fundraiser and community awareness event. The walk is approximately one mile long, unlike other fundraising walks, we do not count laps. This free, family friendly, fun event includes different activities throughout the day. Most walk events will include food, entertainment, kid’s activities and a lot of fun!
When is the Memory Walk?
Within the Association’s 24 county service area, there are 8 walks: Ashland, Defiance, Findlay, Lima, Mansfield, Sandusky, Tiffin and Toledo. Check back soon for the Memory Walk 2010 season dates!
Who is invited to the Memory Walk?
EVERYONE!! Bring the whole family. Everyone has to register, but there is no cost!
How do I get started?
You first build a team, ask co-workers, family, and friends, anyone that you would like to be on your team. Next, make a goal for your team, how much would you like to raise altogether? What is your individual goal? Then start asking for donations!
