About Memory Walk
The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk® is our largest annual event and brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who all want to make a difference. It is a free, family friendly, fun event that not only raises funds, but raises awareness and provides advocacy and strength to individuals effected by the disease and to their families. Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $200 million to help those battling Alzheimer's disease. The Memory Walk hosted by the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter provides funds for much needed services like respite care, helpline and educational programs. The money you raise for Memory Walk provides education, hope and help to families in Northwest Ohio. Forming a team for the Memory Walk can enhance your experience and multiply your impact on the fight against Alzheimer's. Together, as a team, you are a force much greater than what you can accomplish alone.
