Understanding Dementia Meetings

These sessions will provide family members and friends with information about Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia. Caregivers will also learn about what resources and services are available to help them cope with present challenges and future planning.

*NOTE* These meetings are ONLY for family & friends caring for people with dementia.

Registration is REQUIRED. Please call our 24-hour Helpline at 800.272.3900 to register. All meetings are free of charge and subject to change.

Manhattan
Midtown:
- 3rd Wednesday of each month from 5:30pm – 7:00pm
- 2nd Friday of each month from Noon – 1:30pm

Uptown:
- 4th Wednesday of every 3 months from 5:30 – 7:00pm


Brooklyn

- 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm – 8:00pm


Bronx

- 2nd Friday of every 3 months from 1:30pm – 3:00pm


Queens

- 1st Thursday of each month from 12:30pm – 2:00pm
