The New York City Chapter holds seminars designed to acquaint families affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias with legal and financial issues associated with planning for the long-term care of their relative. An attorney specializing in Elder Law will discuss important topics family members should understand before meeting with their personal attorney.

TOPICS TO BE COVERED:

  • Power of Attorney
  • Health Care Proxy
  • Long-Term Care Insurance

We recommend that you attend our "Understanding Dementia: What You Need To Know and Where To Go" meeting before you attend the Legal & Financial Seminar.

*NOTE* These meetings are ONLY for family & friends caring for people with dementia.

Registration is REQUIRED. Please call our 24-hour Helpline at 800.272.3900 to register. All meetings are free of charge and subject to change.
