Brooklyn Walk – Volunteer Outreach Committee
Text Size controls Normal font sizeMedium font sizeLarge font size PrintEmail

The Alzheimer's Association, NYC Chapter is forming a volunteer outreach committee to help develop and execute an outreach plan for a successful 2011 Walk being held on the Coney Island Boardwalk on September 25, 2011. The positions include 2 Co-Chairs, a Community Outreach Chair, a Diversity Outreach Chair, a Sponsorship Outreach Chair and Social Media Outreach Chair as well as various other subcommittee roles.

It’s up to the Committee to decide what kind of outreach plan it wants to undertake and it will have control over where and when meetings will take place. We know that some of you may have busy schedules at work and evenings may work better. That's fine. The Chapter office is always an option for meetings, but whatever the committee decides also works for us. We’re here to provide support and resources for you. The Chapter staff will, of course, be there along the way to assist in any way that we can.

If you would like to learn more information or express interest in getting involved, please send an email to walk@alznyc.org with “Brooklyn Walk – Volunteer Outreach Committee” in the subject line and we will get back to you.
