As baby boomers enter the age of greatest risk, Alzheimer's disease is becoming the leading public health crisis of the 21st century. The Alzheimer's Association, NYC Chapter is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Tax ID number 13-3277408) and your gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Our mission The New York Chapter provides information, assistance and support to patients, caregivers and professionals, throughout the five boroughs of New York City. Our chapter sponsors many programs including our 24-hour Helpline, Support Groups for Caregivers and Early Stage People, training and education for professionals, our MedicAlert + Safe Return Program that helps locate patients who get lost, and many more.
