Please note that gifts and bequests made by NYC donors are shared between the NYC Chapter and the National Alzheimer’s Association unless the donor specifically requests that the gift be restricted for research or for a New York City Chapter program. Creating New Opportunities and Building Capacity To meet the heightened demand for our services, the NYC Chapter recently acquired an additional floor at our 360 Lexington Avenue location. The new addition to the Chapter draws on the latest technology and innovation and is designed around a common theme of supporting individuals with dementia and those who care for them. The most prominent features of this 15,000 square feet real estate expansion are the functional training facilities, intimate consultation spaces, and a dedicated area for our Early Stage Services – all designed to enhance the effectiveness of how we do our work.

Please be assured that we have a secure server for all credit card transactions. You may also make a credit card gift by calling 646.744.2900. APPRECIATED SECURITIES: Gifts such as stocks or bonds may offer substantial tax advantages. A full fair market value deduction is allowed provided the security has been held more than one year (long term capital gain property); otherwise, the deduction is limited to the donor's adjusted tax basis. BEQUESTS: By remembering the Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter in your will, you can have a significant impact on improving the quality of care for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Your bequest may have estate tax planning benefits as well. The following is sample bequest language for discussion with your attorney:
MATCHING GIFTS: Your company may have a matching gifts program. Matching gifts can double or even triple your contribution. Please contact your company's Human Resources Department to see if your company is eligible. CORPORATE GIVING: Payroll deductions, matching gifts, and event sponsorships are ways to support the Chapter. PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS: If your employer conducts an employee contribution program through the United Way or one of the other federated campaigns, please remember to designate the Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter on your campaign form.
