Many of you are familiar with the wonderful feelings that occur when an Alzheimer's patient has an opportunity to experience a spiritual event. The familiar surroundings and rituals with music, stained glass, prayers, communion and symbols such as the cross, prayer shawls, candles and incense remain with us. None of us forget them once we have experienced them in our lives.
A special Alzheimer service at your congregation can awaken this spiritual connection for Alzheimer patients in your community.

Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders slowly deplete the emotional strength of everyone affected. It also impacts an individual's spiritual strength. As the disease continues to test our faith, we look for ways to find peace. Staying connected to our spiritual selves can help conquer the fear and anxiety created by the disease. We invite anyone interested to join us for these services, whether the patient lives at home or in a care center.
Please RSVP to Jacque Schweppe at 714.259.7509
