Please join them in helping achieve our vision of creating a world without Alzheimer's disease while optimizing quality of life for people who are affected by Alzheimer's disease. Ways You Can Help

Services and Education
If you have a professional background in health care, social services, marketing, public relations, or accounting, your expertise can enhance the quality of our chapter programs and services. You can help develop and/or implement events and programs such as public awareness campaigns, speakers' bureaus, Helpline, support groups for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer's, care coordination, and education and training programs. We offer orientation, training, and ongoing information sessions. Call Mallory today at 949.757.3705.

Development
If working behind the scenes is your preference, we have many opportunities for you to consider including data management, donor relations and special events preparations.  Maybe you'd rather engage your family, friends, co-workers or church group in organizing a third party fund drive like a penny collection or garage sale.  There are a number of options - we can work together to find one that you will enjoy. Call Mallory at 949.757.3705.

Advocacy
Help shape laws at the federal, state, or local level by communicating Association positions to legislators and educating them about related issues. Association advocates have helped raise government funds for Alzheimer research and improved access to long-term care for persons in their communities. Call Patty at 949.757.3713.

Board Service
Support our local chapter or the national office by playing a leadership role in the work of the Association. We benefit from every nature of expertise from matters strategic, financial, program development, public relations or fund-raising. Call Jim at 949.757.3715.

Memory Walk
Come walk with us in November and help raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. Millions of men, women and children participate as walkers, volunteers and sponsors each year.  We need your help to make this event a success.

Volunteers are needed to help with everything from event logistics, refreshments and entertainment to community outreach, guest hospitality, teams and corporate recruitment.  A special opportunity exists, as well, to help coordinate our Interfaith Remembrance Ceremony.

For more information, please contact Shannon at 949.757.3708 or shannon.kincaid@alz.org.
