Spring Training 2015 - Enhancing Dementia Care:

Understanding & Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior 

An innovative and interactive education program designed to help you:

  • Understand how behavior is one of the primary ways for people with dementia to communicate their needs and feelings, as the ability to use language is lost.
  • Learn to decode behavioral messages and identify behavior triggers.
  • Practice new strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer's disease. 

Open to dementia care providers:

Caregivers • Family and friends • Health care and senior care professionals

Continuing education units for designated professionals:
