2nd Annual Alzheimer's Association Young Scientist Awards

Through the generosity of donors, the Alzheimer’s Association Orange County Chapter has established a fund for Young Scientist Awards.  The purpose of the Awards is to encourage scholars in their very early career years to pursue interests and investigations in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and to promote the pursuit of research for younger students. To apply, click here or contact Melissa at melissa.anderson@alz.org or 949.757.3705 for details.

Awardees are chosen by the Orange County Chapter’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Board and honored at a luncheon on June 13, 2012 at the Anaheim White House Restaurant.


6th Annual Visionary Women Awards Luncheon

Each year, the Visionary Women Circle of the Alzheimer's Association honors Orange County caregivers who display extraordinary compassion in caring for those touched by Alzheimer's disease and relate forms of dementia. Click here to view photos from the 5th annual Visionary Women Awards Luncheon.

The Visionary Women Circle engages women in the community to help expand awareness of Alzheimer's disease, the fourth leading cause of death in Orange County, through education, advocacy and raising funds to support the essential services and programs that are delivered to families at no cost.
