Prizes ~

Participants who donate and/or raise $50.00 or more will be awarded a 
Southern Oregon Memory Walk '08 T-shirt.  Shirts are purple with white printing, long-sleeved, high quality cotton.

GRAND PRIZE

The GRAND PRIZE for Southern Oregon’s Memory Walk is a Central Oregon Get Away.  It will be awarded to the captain of the team with the most funds raised and turned in to the Oregon Chapter office by October 31, 2008. 

The package includes:

→ One (1) night stay for two (2) at McMenamin’s Old St. Francis School in Bend.  The OSFS Hammerhead package includes: dinner, 2 pints of Hammerhead ale, breakfast

→ Meal at Merenda Restaurant

→ Admission for two (2) at High Desert Museum

→ Bowling and miniature golf for two (2) at Sun Mountain Fun Center

Second Place Top Fund Raising Team

The prize for the captain of the second top fund raising team in Southern Oregon’s Memory Walk ’08 is a McGinty Conference registration fee.  The winner will be announced after the October 31, 2008 fund raising deadline for all prizes.
 
The Oregon Chapter’s annual McGinty Conference on Alzheimer’s will be on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Embassy Suites Hotel at Washington Square.  This one-day conference for caregivers, both family and professional, is an excellent educational event.  Many facets of caregiving are presented by motivating speakers who share innovative ideas in interactive sessions.  Topics include: research, communication, life enhancing activities and person-centered care.
