Interested in becoming a Corporate Benefactor?

Investing in the Alzheimer’s Association Oregon Chapter makes really good business sense—in fact, your bottom line depends on it.

The effect of Alzheimer's disease on U.S. businesses is staggering: not only does the disease cost the private sector billions of dollars in healthcare expenses, but the value of work lost due to unpaid caregiving constitutes an enormous financial drain as well.

U.S. businesses pay billions for health care, long-term care and hospice for people with Alzheimer’s. Since 75 percent of people with Alzheimer’s are cared for by family and friends, their caregivers often must take time off work. The lost productivity, missed work and replacement expenses due to unpaid caregiving indirectly cost U.S. businesses billions more each year.

Alzheimer's disease currently affects approximately 80,000 Oregonians, many of whom are cared for at home by family and friends. In Oregon, 163,000 people act as caregivers and juggle their caregiving duties with a full-time job. Most caregivers provide at least 40 hours of care per week and sustain this commitment for years.

There are 5.4 million Americans with Alzheimer’s today and this number will triple by 2050. The cost to businesses, now and in the future, is astronomical and will only continue to grow. However, investing in the Alzheimer’s Association can greatly benefit our nation’s private sector—and you can be an important partner.

This year we are inviting you to align with the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and make an annual contribution to support the programs, services and educational activities of the Oregon Chapter. As a Corporate Benefactor, you will be highlighted and promoted throughout the year, in every corner of the State, for your commitment to end Alzheimer’s.

We have also introduced multiple event Sponsorship Packages that allow you to reach a specific audience or targeted demographic, select your own level of commitment and be widely recognized for your noteworthy contributions.

Sponsoring an Alzheimer's Association event is a great way to advertise your company and your mission. Benefits of event sponsorship range all the way from having your company's name in our program brochures to having the opportunity to address all of our event participants from the podium.
