Looking to Facilitate a Support Group?

The Oregon Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is looking for facilitators and co-facilitators of regularly monthly or bi-monthly Caregiver Support Group Meetings.  We are also looking to establish a list of “substitute” facilitators/co-facilitators willing to fill-in where and when needed.  If you have professional or personal knowledge about Alzheimer’s or if you have been a caregiver for a loved one with Alzheimer’s, you are uniquely qualified to help others by facilitating or co-facilitating a Caregiver Support Group.

If you’re interested, please contact John Walker at the Oregon Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association: (503) 416-0203 or john.walker@alz.org for more information and a volunteer packet.

Connect with others online

The Alzheimer’s Association message boards and chat rooms provide a virtual online community for persons with Alzheimer's, caregivers and care providers. Our message boards have thousands of registered members from around the United States and thousands more who refer to the stories and information that is available 24 hours a day.
