The Vice President of Operations is responsible for managing the following functions for the Chapter: finance and accounting, human resources, information technology, facilities, contracts, and administrative support. The Vice President of Operations is a member of the Chapter Leadership Team and serves as Staff Liaison to the Audit, Finance, and other related Committees of the Board of Directors. Associate Director of Events - Under the direction of the Vice President of Development, the Associate Director of Events is responsible for the overall events strategy. This position manages 5 Constituent Event Managers and is responsible for volunteer committee recruitment throughout the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter. The position is responsible for training, supervising and evaluating the Constituent Event Managers on the planning, coordination, and management of all events throughout the Chapter territory achieving revenue goals in excess of $1.7 million. The Associate Director of Events is responsible for the budgeting process, the implementation of best practices, monitoring and evaluating events performance, executing event fundraising strategies, soliciting sponsorship, and producing chapter wide Walk collateral. In collaboration with the Vice President of Development, the Associate Director of Events is responsible for cultivating relationships with corporations to secure corporate funding and support to help build the donor and volunteer bases and enhance public awareness.
