This individual is responsible for the efficient and effective management of daily office functions. Additional responsibilities include administrative support to the CEO and social workers, assisting with conferences and event planning, travel planning, data entry and answering phones. Minimum requirements are Associates degree and/or equivalent experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, mail merges, Gmail, Google calendar and general office equipment preferred. Director of Marketing & Communication - The Director of Marketing & Communication’s primary responsibility is to develop, implement and manage comprehensive and effective communications, media relations and publications that are aligned with the Strategic Business Plan. Responsible for raising public awareness and visibility of the Alzheimer’s Association to increase concern and awareness about the disease & funding opportunities and position the Alzheimer’s Association as the leading resource on Alzheimer’s disease throughout the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter. The position reports directly to the President and CEO, is a member of the senior leadership team, supervises the volunteerism initiative, and Board level marketing/communications committee. Other duties include participation in income development, advocacy, and program/service activities. Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years progressive experience in marketing and communications.
