THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S

On behalf of the thousands of families in our community served by the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, please accept our sincere appreciation for your participation in the 2011 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Events.   We are pleased to report that our Chapter raised more than $1,127,618.00 across 29 walks this year.  We could not have done this without your commitment to our mission.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s provides funds to support our essential programs and services for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, their families and professionals who care for them.  Within the 59 counties served by the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, these dollars will directly fund more than 177 support groups, our 24/7 Helpline program which received more than 4,000 calls last year, a full range of training programs for family caregivers, community education seminars and much more.

Your support of the walks will allow us to continue serving families in Pennsylvania  as well as advancing research into the prevention, treatment and someday a cure.  Please check out our Chapter website at www.alz.org/pa  in January for more information relevant to the 2012 walk season.
