Optimal medical management and use of community services such as those of the Alzheimer's Association can have a positive impact on the quality of life for people with Alzheimer's and their families. The Alzheimer's Association has offices throughout the country that provide educational and support services to all those affected by Alzheimer's. Our 24/7 Helpline at 1.800.272.3900 offers care consultaton, information and referral. Our message boards offer people living with Alzheimer's, caregivers and health professionals online support and an opportunity to share experiences and information.

Clinical trial participation
We are at a pivotal time in the development of effective drugs that have the potential to slow or stop the progression of Alzheimer's. We urgently need more people to enroll in clinical studies. Physicians can help by making sure people with Alzheimer's or another dementia are aware of the benefits of clinical studies.
