Treating individuals with Alzheimer’s disease involves guiding and supporting their caregivers as well. Stress and depression can take their toll on those who tend to the daily needs of Alzheimer's patients. Unaddressed, these problems can affect the caregivers’ performance and, in turn, the well-being of the people they care for.
