Delivering better dementia care with better results
Our dementia care training program is based on the Alzheimer's Association Dementia Care Practice Recommendations for Assisted living Residences and Nursing Homes. No other dementia care training comes with such a distinguished pedigree.
Our training emphasizes person-centered care and stronger care teams while achieving bottom-line results:
-
Residents: an enriched quality of life and happier families
-
Staff: More confidence, less stress and greater job satisfaction
-
Residence: Reduced costs through more stable occupancy, fewer disruptions and less staff turnover; improved ability to meet state regulations; an enhanced reputation
Staff will better understand dementia and the individual resident. Sessions for supervisors and direct care staff build both individual and team skills. Supervisors learn how to motivate direct care staff to be skilled providers and problem solvers.
Flexible training options
Trainings include modules for supervisors, nurses and other group leaders and modules for direct care workers. You may choose from classroom training or Web-based training.
