Orientation and roll call
Join us for an overview of the entire program, followed by an opportunity to share with your peers the challenges and triumphs that you have experienced in your past advocacy year.

7-8:30 p.m.

Candlelight vigil
The candlelight vigil provides a unique opportunity to honor loved ones and those who provide care for them. Buses will begin departing the hotel lobby at 7 p.m., and will return to the hotel by approximately 8:30 p.m.

9 p.m.

Opening reception
Join us for refreshments, as well as a chance to greet old friends and make new acquaintances as we wind down our first day.

Dinner and keynote address
Keynote speaker Mike McCurry, former White House Press Secretary and veteran of multiple national elections, will share his views on the current state of play in election 2008, and give us some tips on how to meet our goal of making Alzheimer's disease a national priority. The evening's program will also include a celebration of the Forum's 20th Anniversary.

Capitol Hill kickoff breakfast and closing program

9-5 p.m.

Congressional visits
Information on how to set up visits will be provided when you register for the Forum. You should coordinate with your local chapter to maximize the impact of your visit.

1-5 p.m.

Hospitality suite
You've met with your Congressional contact and told them to make Alzheimer's a national priority. Now drop off your Congressional feedback forms and share your experience with staff and fellow advocates.
