Team captains play a very important role in QUASH®. Think of yourself as a cool version of student body president – all of the connections, none of the need to kiss up to teachers. We count on you to help us build the event, starting with recruitment.
We encourage you to register in teams of two or more, so start thinking about who will make the cut for your all-star squad. To make your group a well-rounded bunch, call up the straight-A student, the can't-lose athlete and your favorite bar buddy – they all have a place on your QUASH team. Use our tips below to make it happen:
- Just ask! You'll be surprised who might be interested. Send a recruitment e-mail from your HQ to friends, family and co-workers. We have a sample e-mail ready for you, so no excuses!
- Reach out to your social networks on Facebook and Twitter.
- Celebrate a birthday, engagement or other milestone by gathering a team to participate in QUASH.
- Get competitive. Split your group of friends into teams and battle it out for bragging rights.
- QUASH can be a team-building exercise for you and your coworkers. Donuts aside, we can guarantee that it'll be more fun than your usual department meeting.
