World Wide Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative

Korea ADNI

Korean ADNI (K-ADNI) is working to comply with international standards of world-wide ADNI for development of new drugs for Alzheimer's Disease dementia patients;  to evaluate the effects of vascular risk factors on Alzheimer's disease progression and Subcortical Vascular Dementia (SVaD), which comprises relatively large proportion of Asian dementia patients; and to establish the efficacy approval system for new dementia drugs.  They are recruiting and collecting data comparable to that gathered through other WW-ADNI centers and data collected throughout this study are available to the research community. Recently, Korea ADNI was approved for government funding.
