Argentina ADNI (Arg-ADNI) has launched the first South American ADNI effort to acquire data comparable to the information gathered throughout other WW-ADNI centers. The Arg-ADNI team are in the process of enrolling volunteers for this study; their goals for enrollment are thirty volunteers with Mild Cognitive Impairment, fifteen volunteers with Alzheimer's disease, and fifteen health controls. Arg-ADNI shares the WW-ADNI goal of developing biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease to identify possible predictive measures of the disease progression. This includes establishment and validation of MRI and PET images, cerebral spinal fluid measures and blood biomarkers.
