Search for a cure: The story of Flurizan (approx. 31 min.)

Scientists discuss the discovery of Flurizan (tarenflurbil) as a potential Alzheimer's drug, its phase III trial, and the negative results unveiled to the public at ICAD 2008. Researchers give possible explanations for Flurizan's failure and explain how data gathered during the trial will help advance the field.
