The Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk is our signature event which takes place on September 26, 2010 in Pawtucket and Newport. Sponsorship opportunities range from $15,000 to $1,000, and there are many ways to raise sponsorship dollars: through corporate contributions, volunteer grants, or host a small fundraiser prior to Memory Walk. Celebrate over 20 years of service and join us for Memory Walk this year. The Alzheimer’s Association Rhode Island Chapter has been making the link for patients, family caregivers, and professionals - we need your support. This is your opportunity to dedicate your sponsorship to helping our loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease.
With the support of the business community and you, we are hoping to raise over $300,000 at Memory Walk in 2010 to benefit the Chapter. More than 5.1 million people have Alzheimer’s disease, but many more are affected by caregiving. The Rhode Island Chapter provides counseling, referral services, training classes, support groups, and a Helpline for people with Alzheimer’s, their caregivers, and health professionals.
