Thank you for participating in our Alzheimer’s Association Golf Tournament which was held on June 22nd at Crestwood Country Club to support the programs and services of the Alzheimer’s Association Rhode Island Chapter. We are so fortunate that the rain did not dampen the spirits or generosity of the players. We raised over $32,000 to support people with Alzheimer’s disease in Rhode Island.

Alzheimer’s is a disease that will touch most of us at some time in our lives. Fully half of the population over the age of 80 has Alzheimer’s disease. Today 5.1 million Americans have Alzheimer’s, and that number will triple by 2050 if no cure is found. Your generous contribution means a great deal to the over 25,000 loved ones here in our small state who have Alzheimer’s disease and the 100,000 caregivers who are affected by it.

We appreciate your dedication to the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association – “to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.”
