Capital City AuctionCapital City Auction Thanks A Heartfelt Thanks to all of the attendees, participants, sponsors, committee members, volunteers, businesses, and in-kind contributors who made our Channel 12 Meteorologist, Tony Petrarca did a fantastic job encouraging bidders to increase their bids. We had an open bid for Live & Learn, a program for persons with early memory loss, and we raised almost $10,000 to sustain the program here in Rhode Island. Thanks Tony for your continued support and dedication to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. Many thanks to Carrabba’s staff, Brown's Bartending, Horizon Bay - Coventry for the food and drink that was served at the auction this year. We received several wonderful comments about the delicious food and servers and volunteers from Providence College & Johnson & Wales University. Proceeds from the auction directly support Rhode Island families dealing with the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease. The auction was a great success again thanks to our generous contributors. The proceeds are an important revenue source for our chapter to assist persons with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
