Since 2009, Meet Me at the MAG has provided individuals with dementia and their loved ones the opportunity for a shared experience and time to socialize in an accepting environment.

This free monthly program is a partnership between the Alzheimer’s Association and Memorial Art Gallery and offers a rare opportunity to explore the gallery’s collections when they are closed to the public.

Meet Me at the MAG features interactive tours with specially trained docents who encourage discussion about themes, artists and the works on exhibit.

Tours are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 2:30-4 p.m. at the Memorial Art Gallery, 500 University Ave., Rochester.

Refreshments are served following each tour.

Meet Me at the MAG is made possible through a gift made in memory of Audrey Gordon, a long-time volunteer at the Memorial Art Gallery.
