The Alzheimer’s Association’s Memory Gardens are located on the grounds of Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester, New York.

These nationally recognized gardens offer a tastefully designed outdoor environment, providing safety, accessibility, security, sensory stimulation, and a calming place for social interaction and healthy physical activity. The Gardens feature design elements meant to address specific individual limitations experienced from Alzheimer’s disease.

The Gardens provide a sanctuary that cultivate outdoor experiences and activities that contribute to enhancing quality of life. The Memory Gardens also hold lasting memorials and are open to the public.
