The San Diego Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association has nearly 300 volunteers who participate in the work of the Chapter in a variety of ways. Whether you can spare only a little bit of time or make a more significant time commitment we hope that you will join us in our very special community.
There are many ways to volunteer! Apply Here>>
Assist in administrative tasks needed to keep our chapter running smoothly, including: special projects, mailings, data entry and more. If you have 2-3 hours open during business hours (8:30AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday) and would like to use them to give back, we would love to talk to you!
Throughout the year we hold several fundraising events to raise critical funds and awareness. Volunteers are a crucial part of the success of these events and will assist with event set-up, greeting and registering guests, and other event logistics. Events are usually held in the evening or on weekends. If you want to volunteer, but don't have the time to volunteer in our office on a regular business, becoming a special events volunteer would be a great fit for you.
Walk to End Alzheimer's ®
Walk to End Alzheimer's ® is our largest fundraising event of the year and we rely on our dedicated and passionate volunteers to make it a success! If you are interested in volunteering at one or both of our Walks this October, please view the job descriptions and sign up for the job you feel you would be best at.
