The Alzheimer's Association, San Diego Chapter (Tax ID # 95-3565-388), depends upon philanthropic support to carry out its important mission. Your generosity enables us to sustain our excellence in programs and services and develop innovative model programs to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of the Alzheimer's community.

Please note that gifts and bequests made by San Diego donors are shared between the San Diego Chapter and the National Alzheimer’s Association unless the donor specifically requests that the gift be restricted for research or for a San Diego Chapter program. Chapter Programs include:

  • Early Stage Services
  • Training and Education

Make A General Donation>>

TRIBUTE GIFTS:  Tribute gifts provide a special opportunity to honor the memory of a family member, friend or colleague, or to recognize an individual or a life occasion.

MAIL / CHECKS: make checks payable to the Alzheimer's Association, San Diego Chapter and mail to:

PHONE / CREDIT CARD: We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please be assured that we have a secure server for all credit card transactions. You may also make a credit card gift by calling 858.966.3318

APPRECIATED SECURITIES: Gifts such as stocks or bonds may offer substantial tax advantages. A full fair market value deduction is allowed provided the security has been held more than one year (long term capital gain property); otherwise, the deduction is limited to the donor's adjusted tax basis.

BEQUESTS: By remembering the Alzheimer’s Association, San Diego Chapter in your will, you can have a significant impact on improving the quality of care for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Your bequest may have estate tax planning benefits as well. The following is sample bequest language for discussion with your attorney:

I, __________________________(city, state, zip), give, devise and bequeath to the Alzheimer’s Association, San Diego Chapter, with offices located at 6632 Convoy Court, San Diego, CA 92111 (insert written amount of gift, percentage of the estate, or residuary of estate, or description of property) to be used for (insert: “its unrestricted use” or “name of San Diego Chapter Program” or “research program”.)

LIFE INSURANCE AND RETIREMENT PLANS: You may also choose to remember the Alzheimer's Association, San Diego Chapter by naming the Chapter the beneficiary of your Retirement Plan or Insurance Policy.

MATCHING GIFTS: Your company may have a matching gifts program. Matching gifts can double or even triple your contribution. Please contact your company's Human Resources Department to see if your company is eligible.

CORPORATE GIVING: Payroll deductions, matching gifts, and event sponsorships are ways to support the Chapter.

PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS: If your employer conducts an employee contribution program through the United Way or one of the other federated campaigns, please remember to designate the Alzheimer's Association, San Diego Chapter on your campaign form. The following is a sample of employee payroll deduction programs:
