About professional training

The Alzheimer's Association is committed to helping professionals improve their knowledge and skills, build stronger teams and deliver better care to people with dementia and their families. Our training and education programs are geared to professionals working in both community-based and residential care settings. We also offer trainings for clergy, law enforcement personnel, and trainings on issues like competency for professionals in the financial and legal community. See our professional training calendar for a list of upcoming seminars scheduled in South Carolina.  If you are interested in training that you do not see scheduled, please contact Gail Marion at 1.800.273.2555 (gail.marion@alz.org) for more information about arranging for a training in your area.

Our programs and meetings have been attended by activity professionals, administrators, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers, police officers, clergy and staff trainers. Many of our programs offer CEUs.
