Meeting of Minds: Cognitive enhancement program for people with mild memory loss
Recent research suggests that connecting with others, participating in engaging activities, and physical activity may help those who are suffering from memory loss maintain their functional independence longer. Joining in a cognitive enhancement program that offers these benefits may help them maintain their best quality of life possible.
In response to these findings, the South Central Wisconsin Chapter offers Meeting of Minds, a memory enhancement program for people with mild memory loss that includes stimulating activities, intellectual exercises, and tai chi-based exercise. The main goal is to help people with memory loss to positively impact their lives.
This program is held at various times during the year, but registration is limited. Cost is $60 for one 12-week series (only $5 per session). Financial assistance is available if needed.
