Tree of Hope
The Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter is pleased to announce the installation of a sculptured “Tree of Hope” in the new chapter office located at 6350 Center Drive in Norfolk, VA. The Tree will represent a breathtaking welcome to the chapter’s office while offering Alzheimer’s families the opportunity to forever honor and remember loved ones, and express their hopes for a cure. The tree will be dedicated in 2009.
As an elegant focal point upon entering the chapter office, the Tree of Hope will feature individually mounted gold, silver and bronze leaves, two sizes of bronze rocks with brass plate for engraving, and a sculpted cast bronze base with dedication stone. A separate dedication plaque will complete the wall where the tree will be housed.
All of these beautiful pieces, either on the tree or scattered beneath it can be inscribed with words that pay tribute to a loved one. Leaves, depending on color, represent gifts of $300-$500. Stones beneath the tree represent gifts of $1,500 and $2,000 depending on size. The tree trunk with
dedication stone and the separate Tree of Hope wall dedication plaque will individually represent larger gifts.
The pieces are LIMITED IN QUANTITY and reservations are required on a first come first served basis.
The Tree of Hope will offer a comforting presence and a perpetual message of love, appreciation and remembrance. For more information please contact Patricia Barosch in the Chapter office at 757.459.2405 or send email to patricia.bartosch@alz.org
