Assist with data entry, database and list management, and administrative tasks. This individual will help our chapter optimize the hygiene and functionality of our database, in preparation for our upcoming transition from a localized donor database to a centralized national database system.
Part time, temporary, unpaid (volunteer or internship status) – 5- 10 hours per week. Position is available immediately, and duration of position depends on candidate availability and project completion. Estimated commitment: minimum of four months, likely maximum of 18 months.
Job duties include: • Various data entry and data clean up tasks in our donor database • Phone number look up • Create, maintain and manage donor lists in Excel • Sort and segment lists of donors, drawing from data in multiple data lists • Help develop and send correspondence to leadership volunteers via Email and snail mail • Miscellaneous administrative duties that may include letter production and collation, filing, copying, printing, sorting or ordering collateral materials, collating presentation packets
Qualifications: • Self starter with an interest in data management who takes initiative to trouble shoot and problem solve • Knowledge and experience with databases and Excel software. Experience with Word and Power Point also useful • Minimum of some college preferred, but not required • Some experience with In Design or other graphic design software helpful, but not required
