As founding partner of Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown law offices, and chairperson for the Wisconsin Center District Board of Directors, Franklyn Gimbel is a leading example of commitment. Voted as one of the best criminal defense lawyers in Wisconsin, he is no stranger to advocating for justice. In addition to his dedication to his clients and profession, Franklyn has been an active member of the community and the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

His personal connection to the disease began with his father in-law’s journey with Alzheimer’s which tragically lead to his death in 2008. He is very supportive of the Alzheimer’s Association in Southeastern Wisconsin and for the last two years has served as host and guest auctioneer for Treasure, the Association’s annual art auction and benefit.

In 2014, Franklyn and his wife, Anne, will chair the Mardi Gras Gala, the Alzheimer’s Association’s premiere fundraising soiree. Alzheimer’s Champion, Franklyn Gimbel, is a strong piece of the puzzle in bringing justice to over 50,000 people affected by the disease in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Motivational Statement

“Alzheimer’s has an overwhelming impact on the world today.  It’s hard to believe that 26 million people in the world are living with the disease, more than five million alone in this country.  Alzheimer’s takes a devastating emotional and financial toll not just on those with the disease, but also on their caregivers.”
