The Alzheimer’s Association California Southland Chapter has been chosen as an Official Charity Partner of the 2015 ASICS LA Marathon and 5K! Known around the world for its “Stadium to the Sea” route, the LA Marathon will be celebrating its 30th edition onMarch 15, 2015. As a participating charity the California Southland Chapter will build a team of participants who will train to run 26.2 miles or 3.2 miles and fundraise in honor of those whose lives have been affected by AD. This is the second year the association has been selected out of many applicants.  Our 2014 team, led by Coach Maggie Espada-Hernandez, was made up of 29 runners who raised over $20,000 for Alzheimer’s research, care and support! We know 2015 will be an even bigger and better year!
