The Eye Has to Remember

Photography Exhibition & Auction

Stefania Rosini is an LA based photographer, originally from Tuscany, Italy. 

"The Eye Has to Remember" is a special event created by Ms. Rosini to help raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association, in honor of her father who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Ms. Rosini has photographed acclaimed stars such as Oscar nominees Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club, 30 Seconds to Mars) and John Hawkes (The Sessions, Lincoln), Luke Grimes (American Sniper, Fifty Shades of Grey) and celebrated Italian actor Gabriel Garko.

 

The exhibition will showcase the autographed portraits taken by Stefania that are available for purchase via online auction. A proceed of all sales will benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

Run to End Alzheimer’s! Inaugural West Hills Half Marathon, 5k, 10k
January 25, 2015

The Alzheimer’s Association California Southland Chapter is proud to be a part of this inaugural race!  

 

Race start time: Half-7am;10k-7:15am, 5k-7:30am
The race will start on Saticoy Street across from Chaminade High School and run along wide open neighborhood roads then onto the main stretch on Valley Circle Drive that has gentle rolling hills and beautiful tree lined twist and turns. This is an out and back closed course has two full lanes of the road dedicated for runner only traffic.  Aid stations every 1.5 miles with sports drink, water and Gu.

Awards 
Top 3 overall M/F in each race - Special Award
Top 3 each age group M/F -  ALL RACE DISTANCES

2015 ASICS LA Marathon & LA Big 5k

The Alzheimer’s Association California Southland Chapter has been chosen as an Official Charity Partner of the 2015 ASICS LA Marathon and LA Big 5K! Known around the world for its “Stadium to the Sea” route, the LA Marathon will be celebrating its 30th edition in 2015. Members of the California Southland Chapter’s Run to End Alzheimer’s team will train to run 26.2 miles or 3.2 miles and will fundraise to help support the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association.
