Not even stormy weather could dampen spirits at our Summer Memories event at Grants Farm on June 6. The sold out crowd enjoyed great summertime food, Anhueser-Busch products, and music by St. Louis favorite Paint the Earth. The Young Ambassadors, who sponsor the event, also organized a silent auction with items ranging from a Cardinals jersey autographed by the entire team to airline tickets to a destination of your choice.

Flooded roadways kept the Clydesdales from making their usual appearance for photos but Grants Farm substituted a Burmese python. The nearly 40-pound reptile was a big hit with party-goers.

Despite a wet beginning, Summer Memories was a great success and a fun evening for everyone. Summer Memories helps support Alzheimer programs, services and research.
